A week earlier, tipster Smart Pikachu had already described a three-model September line-up \u2014 Find X10E, Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max \u2014 with no Pro, and the Ultra pushed back to the first half of 2027. The same day, Digital Chat Station described the production unit as \u201ca fusion of the P and PM technologies from the engineering phase\u201d \u2014 that is, of the Pro and the Pro Max. Set against the convergence described below, where the two devices no longer differed on anything but their ultra-wide, that opens a possibility we can no longer rule out: that the Pro and the Pro Max turn out to be one and the same phone. On 14 September, Oppo opened pre-reservations for the range, to be unveiled on 22 September<\/strong> in China: its page lists only three models \u2014 Find X10E, Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max. The Find X10 Pro is still not among them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autumn 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal moment for anyone passionate about mobile photography and cutting-edge hardware. As September approaches, manufacturers are sharpening their tools to refresh their flagship line-ups. At the heart of that buzz, Oppo’s celebrated Find series is about to be reinvented with a new generation that looks unusually ambitious, built to push today’s hardware standards further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the spotlight initially fell on the most extreme variants, the family’s central model is finally starting to give up its secrets. According to consistent claims shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X10 Pro<\/strong> is shaping up to be a formidably efficient device. Between a pair of 200-megapixel sensors, a next-generation flat OLED panel and a colossal battery, this flagship could well end up being the most sensible pick at the top of the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pro and Pro Max: two models now separated by photography alone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To understand where the Find X10 Pro sits, it helps to look back at the reshuffling of the Find X10 line-up<\/a> carried out by Oppo over the summer. The brand’s original plans called for a very clear separation between the Pro model and the Pro Max variant, with the latter initially set to feature a huge 6.89-inch screen at 2K resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent production decisions have reshuffled the deck, however. Both devices are now said to converge on exactly the same format: a flat 6.78-inch display at 1.5K resolution<\/strong>, driven by the same Dimensity 9600 Pro chip built on a 2 nm process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what does that alignment actually change when it comes time to choose? The decision no longer hinges on picking between two screen sizes or two levels of raw processing power, but on a purely optical question: do you genuinely need a third very-high-resolution sensor? While the Find X10 Pro Max and its three 200 MP sensors<\/a> takes the one-upmanship all the way to the ultra-wide, the Find X10 Pro positions itself as the perfect balance, sitting clearly above the standard Find X10, which has to make do with a more modest platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flat 6.78-inch screen: choosing comfort and a Tianma substrate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Visually and ergonomically, the Oppo Find X10 Pro is said to go the modern route with a completely flat 6.78-inch panel<\/strong>. Curved edges, long a hallmark of the ultra-premium segment but often criticised for stray reflections and accidental palm touches, give way to a flat display surface framed by ultra-thin symmetrical bezels on all four sides and softened by generously rounded corners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel reportedly uses a next-generation Tianma electroluminescent substrate<\/strong>. Less talked about than some long-established suppliers, this component is said to cut down on heat during sustained use while significantly improving the display’s overall energy efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The screen is also tipped to rely on OLED LTPO<\/strong> technology, delivering an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz<\/strong>. In practice, the system adjusts its scanning speed on the fly: the frequency drops to 1 Hz when you’re reading a static document to preserve battery life, and jumps straight back to 120 Hz as soon as you scroll a web page or fire up a compatible game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro: the power of a 2 nm process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The internal architecture of this new generation marks a major strategic turning point for Oppo. The Find X10 range is going all-in on MediaTek processors, with only the Find X10 Ultra<\/a> breaking ranks by adopting a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip when it arrives later next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
