The wait is finally over for users of the Xiaomi ecosystem. After weeks of speculation, the brand has made official the rollout schedule for the stable version of its new major interface: HyperOS 4. The company unveiled its detailed roadmap, titled “Xiaomi HyperOS 4 正式版推送计划”, in an official post on its Weibo account (小米澎湃OS), published on 17 September 2026.

The accompanying message sets the tone for this big software switch: “The stable version of Xiaomi HyperOS 4 will start rolling out on 15 October to a first wave of devices already on sale, then gradually cover more models. Feel free to use it and send us your feedback; we will keep improving it and refining the experience step by step.” While this schedule applies directly to the Chinese market, it is a key reference point for PhoneDroid customers and enthusiasts: it sets the order of priority for devices and foreshadows the timeline of the upcoming global versions.

What the official schedule reveals for users of imported phones

First phase: by 15 November at the latest

This stage targets the previous generation’s flagships, foldable formats and productivity tablets:

• Xiaomi smartphones: Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra Dual Satellite Edition, Xiaomi 15S Pro, Xiaomi 15 Pro, the standard Xiaomi 15, the compact Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 foldable and the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro.

Before the end of the month, HyperOS 4 will reach the brand’s best-selling core range, as well as family tablets:

When to expect the update on European global versions?

The publication of this official schedule for China marks the real operational kick-off of HyperOS 4. Although Xiaomi has not yet published a formal schedule for global versions, the brand traditionally starts its international rollouts a few weeks after the first Asian waves.
