Realme Switches to ColorOS 17: The List of Eligible Models

📌 Update, 17 September 2026: ColorOS 17 is official, and Oppo has published the Chinese schedule for Realme devices. The GT8 Pro goes first from 8 October, and the wave runs until 26 December. Dates for international versions are still to be announced.

In the wake of the global restructuring announced by the OPPO group, the end of the Realme UI skin is now official. While every future smartphone from the brand will ship straight out of the box with ColorOS, what happens to the devices already out there?

Realme has confirmed that its existing compatible models will receive the major ColorOS 17 update (based on Android 17). Drawing on the manufacturer’s official software support policy, here is the full list of smartphones and tablets that are expected to move over to OPPO’s system.

A seamless transition for users

Long-time fans of the brand can relax: moving from Realme UI to ColorOS won’t be a shock, either visually or in day-to-day use. The two interfaces have in fact shared the same code base for several years already.

Unifying everything under ColorOS 17 does bring real benefits, though:

• Access to features and customisation options previously reserved for OPPO’s high-end smartphones.
• Faster, better optimised security updates thanks to the centralisation of the development teams.

The list of Realme devices eligible for ColorOS 17

Realme GT series

• Realme GT 8 Pro
• Realme GT 7 / GT 7 Pro / GT 7 Pro Racing / GT 7T
• Realme GT 6 / GT 6T
• Realme GT 5 Pro

Number series

• Realme 16 / 16 Pro / 16 Pro+ / 16T
• Realme 15 / 15 Pro / 15 Lite / 15T / 15x
• Realme 14 / 14 Pro / 14 Pro+ / 14T

P series & C series

• P range: Realme P4 (Pro, Lite, 4G, Power 5G, P4R, P4x) and Realme P3 (Pro, Ultra, P3x).
• C range: Realme C100 (4G, C100x, C100i), C85 (4G, 85 Pro), C83, C75 (C75x) and C71.

Narzo, Note and tablet ranges

• Narzo range: Narzo Power 5G, Narzo 100x, 100 Lite, Narzo 90 (90X), Narzo 80 (Lite, 80 Pro, 80x).
• Note range: Realme Note 80, Note 70 and Note 70T.
• Tablet: The Realme Pad 3 will also get the ColorOS 17 update.

Timing and rollout

The dates landed on 17 September 2026, when Oppo officially unveiled ColorOS 17. As expected, the system debuts on the group’s new high-end models (the Find X10 range and the OnePlus 16 ship with it), then rolls out in waves. Here is the schedule for Realme devices in China:

This schedule only covers Chinese versions, which is why it includes China-only models such as the Neo8, Neo7 and V70. The ranges sold internationally, including the Realme 16, P, C, Narzo and Note models listed above, are still waiting for their own schedule, which Oppo has not shared yet.
